Regulations

The Control of Pollution Act is here and September 1st 2005 sees the final stage of the regulations coming into force. All commercial, industrial, educational and institutional properties using and storing oil and commercial fuels must have bunded storage tanks. Its not just new tanks, these new regulations apply to existing tanks as well. The new regulations are there to protect the environment and to protect your business. Large fines and the costs of a clear up following a spill can be severe so its time to look at your oil and fuel storage.
